Photos from a boat tour of the islands around Dalyan, with stops for swimming in the lake,
a mudbath, and an exploration of the ruins of Ancient Kaunos/Caunos (going back to ~4000 BC).

I still received an abundance of bites, though, even in October.

These are among the most impressive in all of Turkey.
One was not completed, so it's studied for construction methods.

This charming family who shared our boat was vacationing from Switzerland 
and deciding each night where to stay.  Much more fun than a guided tour, during the 
lighter tourist season.
